Swift Light Flight is a Microlight Club and Training School based at Shobdon Airfield set in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire. Shobdon is a relaxed and friendly place to learn to fly, but is sufficiently busy with all types of aviation giving the student an appreciation of larger more procedural airfields.
We specialise in Pilot Training to a very high standard complying with the Microlight Training Syllabus for National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL). Type conversions and safety courses are also offered with safety being a high priority in all Microlight training. Training is currently offered on Three Axis C42b and Eurostar and Flex-wing GT 450 aircraft.
Courses are tailored to the student’s requirements. Accommodation is available on site with a cafe and bar.
