The site is still very popular. Just looking at the stats – In the last 30 days (September 2019) there have been just under 700 visitors and 4,900 page visits with less than 0.5% bounce rate, which is great.
Over the last year there have been over 9,000 visits, and 79,000 page views – that’s awesome !!
i don’t know about everyone else, but for me, this has got to have been the worst year for flying in the last 5 years. Shitty weather – either too windy, cloudy or wet – or a mixture. What makes it worse for me is that i live over 100 miles away from my Quik, and it can be beautiful at home, and pissing down or blowing a hooly at the airfield.
Very very frustrating.
I have been thinking it’s time to add more content, just because it’s been a while and the winter nights are coming and i get bored 🙂
Please if there are any areas that you would like to see on the site, drop me a note – anything considered…. I thought about a forum or a bulletin board, but everyone uses facebook now, and forums are pretty much dead, despite the fact that they are better. Sales and Wanted are also covered on Facebook, and Afors, so i know it wouldn’t work.
This request applies especially to students who have a thirst for knowledge. If you can’t find what you are looking for on here, then there is a good chance that there are others with the same query.. Just drop me a note..
Giles Fowler is an experienced paramotor pilot, and has started to post a vlog of all his recent training on a flexwing, and was happy to give permission for me to include on the FWS site.
